Prior to forming Boswell Investment Partners, Frederick served as Founder and Managing Director at private equity firm Six One Bravo Capital Group, where he successfully led the firm's capital raise and oversaw equity investments into niche primary care, post acute care, and seniors housing companies.
For nearly two decades, Frederick's strong operations and strategy background helped transform and position small and mid-sized healthcare organizations for successful outcomes. As M&A lead for one of the largest independent home and community-based healthcare and care management organizations in New England, he led the organization's $8.2 million acquisition of a growth-stage behavioral health services company, allowing for expansion of service offerings, workforce, and footprint. He also helped a Boston-based managed care organization grow membership 3.3x over five years and achieve $4+ million in cost savings. Frederick has held CEO/VP/Director/Manager roles with several other organizations, and he previously served as Founder and CEO of an independent consultancy advising small and mid-sized healthcare and community-based organizations on an array of leadership, strategy, performance, and general management challenges.
Frederick holds a Business Management degree concentrating in finance and alternative investments from Harvard University, and received his PhD in Law and Public Policy from Northeastern University. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School's CORe Program, and holds certifications in Corporate Finance from Columbia Business School; Supply Chain Dynamics from MIT; and Strategic Management from Harvard Extension School. He is board-certified in healthcare administration as Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
